My
Mothers Day ended on a bad note but started with my kids treating me all week long. Cameron made me a heart cake at school, Emma and Kyle gave me flowers with their pictures on it from Diaper Club (base playgroup), and then Cameron and Emma gave me pictures they drew from MOPS on Friday. Then the day of Mothers day arrives with little problems getting the kids ready and to church.
It was the last hour at church that my eye decided to go rouge. Everyone was worried about me and tried to help. Jessica, a great friend of mine was kind enough to drive my very messy car home (which I plan to clean this week). Her husband was also kind enough to invite us to dinner after he gave me a blessing. Dinner was yummy but my eye was getting worse by the minute. After minutes of nagging from Jessica (just kidding about the nagging),
I gave up my pride and had her drive me to the ER. After only 2hrs, the doctor pulled my upper eye lid inside out and pulled out a brown, little, sharp "rock" and examined the cornea that had a little scratch. Luckily I only need to put some antibiotic gel on the eye for 5days and don't have to wear a pirate patch. Happy Mothers Day y'all!

May ... so far

May brought not just May flowers but Cameron's graduation for VPK. He got to be the line leader making him the first child to enter on stage. They awarded him the Leadership Award which is very fitting. His buddy, Miss Erika had a scrapbook for things Cameron said and did during the year followed with pictures and a nice letter to Cameron. Now Cameron is registered for kindergarten at Holland Elementary. He is growing so fast! The day after graduation we were able to meet the 3 kindergarten teachers and visit their rooms. They are very nice. We are hoping for a certain teacher but the classes are picked for us. We will see the second week in August when we have orientation.
The first week also b
rought 2 new/first teeth for baby Kyle! The first popped through on Monday and the other on Friday night while I was doing a Scentsy party. Plus he had a horrible cold. Oh what fun our week
was! Kyle has also been rolling around like crazy. Emma and Cameron think that he still doesn't like his tummy so they proceed to roll him back on his back like a log. Super funny! He has also upgraded to little baby puffs and sippy cup. Because of his new found teeth, he has been chewing away on
the sippy cup and high chair. Kyle has also
achieved the ability to sit up on his own without help for more than 2min.
With Cameron being out of school now I have been trying to keep us busy so that I don't go insane. Last Thursday we went to the park at the beach with our church playgroup and we walked on the pier/walkway to see the ocean. It was Kyle's first time. I'm not crazy enough to take all 3 of them by myself to the beach so we will wait until Josh is home to go play in the salt water
